Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an EV Charging Construction Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for construction for EV Charging Stations including: Site Walks, Cost Estimates, Subcontractor Selection and Management, Engineering Design, Site Construction, and Project Close-outs.

Responsibilities:

· Serving as jobsite representative for the Pyramid Network Services.

· Works closely with all design consultants to prepare, review & evaluate construction documents.

· Studies specifications of plan procedures for construction based on starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction (Establishes project schedules).

· Providing coordination and input as needed with utility companies providing services and infrastructure for the project, including schedule and cost management.

· Prepares full range quantity takeoffs, compiles hard bid, design/build, & square foot estimates (Cost estimates).

· Procures all required permits and/or licenses to proceed with work, if required.

· Attends weekly conference calls and provides site-by-site tracking spreadsheet and or Smartsheet.

· Procures lead time and delivery of materials to conform to project schedules.

· Confers with and directs supervisory personnel of contractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Monitoring and ensuring schedule performance and quality workmanship of contractors.

· Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.

· Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules, conduct meetings, and create documents with contractors, vendors, and municipalities at regular intervals.

· Reviewing change proposals, proposal requests, requests for information, supplemental instructions, and other contract documentation as required on behalf of the carrier's interests.

· Coordinates surveying of the construction area/site, as well as site walks with all necessary parties.

· Prepares and/or reviews progress reports, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports, reviews cost reports, interacts with the accounting Dept., and reviews progress payments.

· Interacts and corresponds with Tenant/Client’s design firms and RF engineers throughout the project concerning schedule, finishes, modifications, and specifications.

· Responsible for job site safety and quality.

· Prepares close-out documents upon project completion, as well as punch lists and timely completion

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years experience in the construction of EV Charging Stations

· Strong knowledge and understanding of electric vehicles and EV charging infrastructure.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
